Friendly reminder from the Stewardship Committee: The next Fundscrip order will be going in the last week of March. The deadline for cheques is Thursday, March 25th - 12 noon. Order forms will be available at the back of the church or in the church office. Please remember this is an ongoing fund raising project and your support is greatly appreciated. Any questions, please contact Vince Baird 895-4921 or any member of the Stewardship Committee.

The last Sunday of each month is Food Bank Sunday. Please remember those in our community who are less fortunate, and give as you can. Items always in need are canned meats & milk, soups, cereals, beans, macaroni, juices, tea and coffee.

The Pastoral Care Committee is requesting assistance from members of the congregation by contacting the Church Office if there is someone they know from the congregation who is ill or in hospital.

KD Thursdays are back and in full swing and we need your help. Kraft Dinner, Ketchup and juice crystal donations may be left outside the Hall kitchen during regular office hours. Thank you for your continued support of this 'youth oriented' community ministry.

The first Confirmation Class will be held on Monday, March 8th at 5 pm. Supper will be provide.

'Loonies for Lent' Over the centuries, the association of Lent with study, prayer and giving something up becomes a reminder to Christians of the seriousness of their baptism. 'Loonies for Lent' vials are available at the back of the sanctuary.

Penny Parade Time! The Sunday School will be holding its annual Penny Parade on Sunday, April 18, 2010. Your pennies (and silver) help our school in Libito, Angola. Donations may be left at the church office, or with Pat Caudle or Janet MacKinlay.

The UCW's annual St. Patrick's Day Coffee Party will be held in the Church Hall on Wednesday, March 17th, from 10:00 am until 12 noon. Tickets are available from the church office and UCW members. Adults $5.00, Children $3.00. If anyone has good coffee mugs to donate to the Church kitchen - please leave them on the table outside the main kitchen.

For Such a Time as This! United Church Men's Rally - Saturday, May 1st, 2010 - Trinity St. Stephen's United Church in Amherst, NS. Registrations forms are available from Gordon Moore or at the back of the Sanctuary.

What if the Men of Canada united to rebuild essential education in Angola? The Dondi Project is an effort to help rebuild a school destroyed by civil war. Reaching out to men of all ages across Canada, hoping to engage, unite and inspire. The Men's Ministries Network hopes to raise $1 million dollars this year. Contributions may be made to your local Church 'marked' Dondi Project!
