The deadline for cheques is Thursday, March 1st - 12 noon. Order forms will be available at the back of the church or in the church office. * * * * * * * * * * * * * The Food Bank Sunday is last Sunday of the month Please remember those in our community who are less fortunate, and give as you can. Items always in need are canned meats & milk, soups, cereals, beans, macaroni, juices, tea and coffee.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * Looking ahead... 'Sing through More Voices' - a Lenten study, Wednesdays February 29th - April 4th (7:00 start) led by Chris Bowman. Open to area churches and congregations. Sing through familiar songs and discover new favorites. Details to follow in the coming weeks.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * Our Book & Film group meets on Tuesdays at 11AM in the parlour. We are reading The Question of God exploring the thinking of C.S. Lewis and Sigmund Freud. We will begin on January 24th. Copies of the book may be purchased from the church office. We will be happy to welcome anyone from the Community that would like to attend.
Our Bible Study group will meet in the new year on Wednesday mornings beginning February 8th 10:30 - 11:30AM in the Parlour. We will be doing a chapter by chapter study of Paul's letter to the Corinthians, dealing with all the gritty issues that makes church life what it is. Please feel free to join us.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * The 8th annual Choirs for Comfort concerts will take place at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 4th and Sunday, February 5th at First United Church in Truro. Fourteen choirs will be featured over the two events which will be raising money, through free will donations, for the Colchester Food Bank. Both concerts are sponsored by Music Under the Steeple.

Theme: 'Caring & Sharing' Registration 9:30am to 10am. Bring a bag lunch and 'lug a mug'.
